Beaver Days 2012
Beaver Weekends are always important, but this year more than ever. If you haven’t heard, the Minsi Trails Council will be investing a significant amount of money this Spring to make important improvements to all shower facilities, and completing work on numerous other projects vital to our camps.
Specific projects will include building storage sheds in remaining campsites, cleaning, painting and making improvements to all shower facilities, and completing work on numerous other projects vital to our camps.
In the near future… a Beaver Day(s) Sign-up Packet will be sent to all units and contain the information needed to register as an individual or full group. The packet will contain details on specific projects to be completed, the number of workers needed and special tool or expertise requirements. This will allow units to adopt and complete specific projects during Beaver Day(s).
As always…the weekend(s) will have a component of fun built in and key program areas will be open in operation after the projects are completed on Saturday afternoon.
