Welcome to the C.O.P.E. experience. The information
here is designed to prepare you for the C.O.P.E. program
at Trexler Scout Reservation. Please read all forms
carefully. If you have any questions, please feel free

Staff:
C.O.P.E. Directors are graduates of the BSA Northeast
Region National Camp School trained in C.O.P.E. programs.
Staff members and instructors are trained students,
outdoor leaders, and volunteer members of the community.
All participate in ongoing training on C.O. P. E. activities.
Equipment and Clothing:
C.O.P.E. will provide all equipment and training for
its proper use. You will be expected to dress appropriately
for the weather and nature of the activity, as outlined
on the What to Bring page.
Forms:
All participants must have a complete medical form (short
OK) to be kept by the Scoutmaster upon arrival to camp.
No form, NO C.O.P.E. Personal Medical
forms will be completed at the time of registration.
Participants under the age of 18 must bring a complete
Parental Consent form signed by their parent/guardian.
Safety:
Safety is the primary concern on the C.O.P.E. course.
A safety briefing precedes each activity; at this time
all risks and protection against these risks are explained.
Participants are expected to abide by all safety rules
set by the staff.
