With the receeding waters at Stillwater Lake, there are things arising that need to be removed from the lake to provide a cleaner environment for the wildlife. Therefore, Venture Crew 940 will be hosting a "Stillwater Cleanup Weekend" Sept 17-19,2010.

 

The main purpose of this weekend is to remove the trash, tires, metal objects and other items that have surfaced since the water receeded. We are inviting troops to come and camp for the weekend, free of charge in our campsites, you will need your own tents as our's are put away for the season. We will provide lunch on Saturday afternoon to all who assist in the very large task, we ask that you wear sturdy shoes, as the rocks are not completely stable and can wobble when walking on them. Prepare to possibly get muddy as some of the areas haven't dried out yet, showers will be open!
