I am sure you have probably noticed that there are a few dead and dangerous trees around at both Camp Minsi and Trexler Scout Reservation. In order to combat this issue, our camp rangers are hosting a Chainsaw Weekend on October 22nd and 23rd.
If you have your own chainsaw and the skills to use it, we need your assistance. Each camp has reserved a cabin for you to stay in on Friday evening. Part of the program will be the delivery of the BSA required Chainsaw Safety Course on Friday. We will provide Friday cracker barrel and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. First thing on Saturday morning, you will be broken into teams and sent to remove the previously marked hazard trees in camp.
