Attention all Scouts (especially the golfers!)

Attention all Scouts (especially the golfers!)

On Monday, October 4th, the Minsi Trails Council will be holding its annual Boy Scout Golf Classic, proceeds from which benefit local Scouting programs.  Our Golf Committee has come up with an exciting and ambitious objective for this years’ event … 100 foursomes playing for Scouting’s 100th Anniversary!

To accomplish this, we are pleased to announce that we are expanding this year’s tournament to be played at 4 distinct golf courses (Saucon Valley Country Club, Silver Creek Country Club, Green Pond Country Club & Wedgewood Golf Club), each with its own style and sponsorship levels.  No matter the course you choose, foursomes are invited to join us after their round of golf for food, drink and fellowship at Saucon Valley Country Club, home of the 2009 US Women’s Open!

Additionally, all foursomes entered by September 15, 2010 will be in a drawing to board a private jet to play their round of golf at Oakmont Country Club (Pittsburgh, PA) home to more US Opens than any other golf course!

Attached to this email is a flyer with some of the event details, as well as a web-link that will take you to the BSA Golf Classic’s official website (signups will be accepted online!)  We hope that you will take a moment to share this email with everyone on your distribution list … the more people we can share this with the more likely we achieve our goal of 100 foursomes for Scouting’s 100th Anniversary.

We hope that you can come join us on Monday, October 4th for a wonderful round of golf and fellowship in support of our favorite cause … our local Scouting programs!
