Cub Scout Day Camp - First Step of Adventure
Cub Scout Day Camp is your neighborhood Cub Scout Camp. It is a five day fun filled experience that offers opportunities for all levels of Cub Scouting, from Tiger to Webelos II, to participate in activities that are designed to build mental fitness, physical skills, and character. And it is a lot of FUN!
Day Camps are located in throughout the Minsi Trails Council in June, July, and August. To find the camp closest to you take a look at the web site. All cubs and their families are welcome to attend any camp in the council. It is not too late to register for camp.
Each camp has a variety of age appropriate games and sports, crafts and other activities that will help your Cub have a Cub Scout Adventure. Different belt loops, activity pins and other advancement are can earned at each camp. Contact the camp director to find out what your Cub may be earning at Day Camp this year.
Cub Scout Day Camp would be lost without its youth and adult volunteers. Adults volunteer with their scouts from one to five days or serve in a variety of staff roles at Day Camp. Adults also learn a lot about scouting at camp. Youth volunteers are needed to serve as Den Chiefs and assist in program areas
Cub Scout Day Camp is truly the best week of a Cub Scout's Summer! Day Camp is a week long day time camp adventure where cubs and parents experience a bigger part of scouting. So don't let your son miss out on all the fun and excitement that Day Camp has to offer such as crafts, games, archery, fellowship and much more.
