Catholic Scouting in the Allentown Diocese and Minsi Trails Council Grows!
The Allentown Diocese Catholic Committee on Scouting has "Officially" launched it new direction! The committee has made the decision to grow its program and expand the current offerings to the Catholic Scouts of the Allentown Diocese and Minsi Trails Council. With the assistance of willing Catholic adults, the committee plans on offering not only a wonderful Boy Scout retreat, but also a Cub Scout Day of Recollection, an adult retreat/workshop, more training opportunities, and much more information and direction for Scouts on how to earn their religious emblems and other exciting awards offered by the Catholic Committee on Scouting.
The committee is actively seeking interested adults who would like to become Cub Pack Religious Emblems Coordinators, Boy Scout
Religious Emblems Coordinators, or Boy Scout Religious Emblems Counselors for either the Ad Altare Dei or Pope Pius XXII awards. It is the committee's desire to grow the program and ensure that EVERY Catholic Scout in the diocese and council will have the opportunity to grow in their faith and earn some wonderful awards along the way. The committee meets monthly at St. Jane De Chantal in Easton. Please check out their NEW website at http://www.adccos.org for meeting schedules and much more! If you have any questions regarding the Catholic Committee or its programs, please contact Bill Brodniak at bill@adccos.org.
