Experience what COPE has to offer!
Attention all Scouts ages 16 and older. We are seeking candidates to be trained as COPE instructors and facilitators. If qualified you have the opportunity to become part of the Minsi Trails Council year-round COPE staff. Our first training session will be offered as one, two weekend, program. The dates will be March 19-21 and 26-28. It will start Friday evening and end Sunday afternoon on BOTH weekends. There is no fee and food will be provided. All those interested are encouraged to contact me as soon as possible. You may either reach me at 610-393-9076 or email me at TSRCOPE@aol.com. This is a great way to meet new people and is definitely and exciting part of the Scouting Program.
Anyone curious what C.O.P.E. is all about? Well it stands for: Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience. But what exactly does that mean? Here is your chance to find out. We are inviting troops to come join us on Saturday April 25, at Trexler Scout Reservation, for a peak into the COPE program. This is a great opportunity to plan a spring camping trip with your troop. Come on up Friday, get set up, and let us entertain you on Saturday. Or join us just on Saturday for a day of games and events centered around teamwork and the COPE principals. There will be a five dollar registration fee for each participant. However, if you choose to participate in the week-long summer camp COPE program we will take five dollars off the cost. If interested please contact me at TSRCOPE@aol.com or call 610-393-9076.
Yours In Scouting,
Aaron Maza
