Beaver Day Weekends

What is Beaver Day?  This is a chance for your unit to improve our summer camp facilities and enjoy a taste of what’s to come this summer at camp.  Guess What?  It’s completely free!  That’s right, no charge at all.  We are giving units the opportunity to camp in the same campsite they use during the summer this weekend, (if possible). Help improve your site, or participate in one of the projects around camp to prepare for the 2010 camping season.

The camp will provide you tents and cots for setup Friday evening during check-in starting at 6:00 p.m.  All your unit has to do is provide your own food and equipment needed for your stay.  Saturday lunch will be provided for all units participating during the weekend.  All we ask is that you give a few hours of service to the camp on Saturday.  In return, Scouts and leaders can take advantage of several open program areas Saturday afternoon and Sunday Morning, run by summer camp staff.  Also, if you have any leaders in your unit who are electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc. please let us know, so we can have materials on-hand for larger and skilled projects around camp.
