Tim Lambert Scouter Award
Purpose
The Tim
Lambert Scouter Award is presented to a leader who demonstrates the intangible
quality that shows the individual’s dedication to the Scouting program.
Selection Criteria
The recipient of this award will have:
• demonstrated enthusiastic leadership
• commitment to fun when delivering the
Scouting program while ensuring that the youth:
• learn teamwork
• have respect for others
• complete a task once they start
• the willingness to pitch in when asked
• the overwhelming sense that the
Scouting program is for the enrichment of the youth.
Eligibility
Any
volunteer Scouter within the Forks of the Delaware District who meets the
selection criteria detailed above.
Nomination Process
Nominations
for this award may be submitted by any Scouter in the Forks of the Delaware
District via phone, fax, email or in writing to the District Director. The person submitting the nomination
should provide their name, the name of the nominee, the nominee’s unit #, and a
description of the action or contribution and explain why this individual is
nominated for the Tim Lambert Scouter Award.
Selection Process
Nominations
will be accepted annually and the Tim Lambert Scouter Award Selection Team will
review the nominations prior to the district dinner each year. The
deadline is two weeks prior to the dinner. Nominations received after the
deadline will be held until next year.

Award
recipients will be recognized at the annual District Recognition Dinner. The award recipient will receive
a certificate signed by the Tim Lambert Scouter Award Selection Team plus
an award. Also,
photographs and an accompanying article may be submitted to Minsi e-News, the
electronic Newsletter for the Minsi Trails Council.
